BioNatur plastic has been tested to biodegrade according to the following standards as well as complies with the requirements of the following rules and specifications.

Our latest testing shows: ASTM D5511 testing has shown up to 99.7% biodegradation in 1,697 days under anaerobic conditions. ASTM D5526 testing demonstrates up to 36.6% biodegradation in 391 days in landfill conditions.  Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon testing demonstrates that all plastics have biodegraded in the tested D5511 sample and no plastic from the sample were left in the system.

Actual rates of biodegradation will vary dependent upon specific environmental conditions.
